Fort Valley State University Athletics Hotel RFP

SelectHospitality is the official travel partner of Fort Valley State University Athletics. We're conducting a RFP for the 2023-2024 athletic year. Our goal for this RFP is to establish a volume rate at one preferred hotel and drive all athletic travel to that hotel. RFP Information:

Athletic Travel Dates: Athletic year; August 2023-May 2024  Fort Valley State University - FVSU / Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference - SIAC

Typical team stay will be 2 nights, Thursday-Saturday. There will be multilpe teams that travel to and compete in every conference city, and the typical team room nights will be anywhere from 35 rooms per night to 5 rooms per night, depending on the sport. Hotel will receive team specifications/dates approx. 3 months in advance of each stay. Each team will have 1 rooming list and 1 credit card for each stay.

RFP Objective
All FVSU athletic teams will travel to the same cities throughout the athletic year. Our objective is to create one preferred hotel in every SIAC market and drive all team room nights to the preferred hotel. In exchange for all room nights, we are looking for a flat commissionable volume rate throughout the athletic year. Ideally, we are looking for the volume rate to be anywhere from $100-$109 per night.

Fort Valley State University is a NCAA Division II athletic department that competes in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a total of 14 sports located in Fort Valley, Georgia.
